Cory was introduced to Reiki, plant medicine and massage healing techniques during a challenging time in her life and has since dedicated herself to learning about the many facets of holistic medicine to heal her own dis-eases and assist others in overcoming their challenges whether it be on a physical, mental or spiritual level.

After many years of working in the medical and mental health profession both on administrative side and direct contact and care management with children, youth, and adults, Cory found herself at the doctors office constantly with chronic pain and a long list of diagnoses that accumulated over the years and along with it 13 prescriptions to manage the symptoms with very little actual relief. After reaching burnout her body, mind and spirit refused to continue on this path, Cory decided to take her first Reiki class in 2018. That’s when everything changed.

Suddenly, real relief entered her life; a quieter mind, a stronger voice, a body ready to heal… Reiki introduced her to a meditative state for the first time in her life, her body was able to start relaxing. The parasympathetic nervous system was beginning to be reactivated after years of unknowingly being stuck in fight/flight mode due to work and personal traumatic experiences. Secondary trauma was not something that was addressed at that time in her career either, so like many others working in high stress environments, she just kept pushing through it. The accumulation of byoki’s (stuck energy) became unbearable and dis-ease set in. Once these energies were acknowledged through Reiki and later plant medicine and massage, Cory was able to stop all 13 prescriptions and make some necessary lifestyle changes and is now medication free!

Reiki also assisted Cory in discovering and nourishing her psychic abilities and clairvoyance, increase her self awareness, confidence and deep healing abilities of past life experiences and current creative abilities.

With this newfound awareness and excitement and passion for life found once again, Cory followed the call to Big Island, Hawai’i where she now calls home for herself, her reiki pup Lucy and her 3 beautiful kitties.

Cory is passionate about holding space and assisting others who have reached their own level of burnout and are ready to explore a new way of be-ing through Reiki, energy healing, sound healing, crystal healing, shadow work, plant medicine and massage therapy.
